ABOUT THE VILLAGE

Ilapavulur is a small village. All are very poor. The people in the village belong backward classes . The ancestors’ of famous IAS Officer Sri I.V.SUBBA RAO belongs to this village. Literacy rate is below 50%. All are agricultural labours. The cultivated lands are very low. The village has two schools, one is M.P.U.P SCHOOL and another one is M.P.P SCHOOL in the s.c habitation.

ABOUT THE SCHOOL

M.P.U.P SCHOOL was started in 1940 as a primary school, and it was upgraded as a UP SCHOOL in 2001. The school has 7 classes (I to VII), five rooms, and toilets for both. Bore well for drinking water. In 2011-12 academic year five computers are supplied by the RVM. The Roll of the school is 158. Eight Teachers are working.

LEP is implementing in our school.

INNOVATIVE ACTIVITIES

1. GODA PATRIKA

It is a tool to display teachers and pupil’s articles. We collect them weekly once and make a magazine with good articles and praise the pupils in the school assembly.

2. HONEST BOX

Pupils drop the missing of the children in the school premisses.

3. POST BOX

Pupils drop their opinions in the box belonging to the school and their need. We collect them daily and read in the read period (i.e. 3.15p.m to 4.05p.m)

4. TO DAY’S WORDS

We write five English words and their meanings in the display board. Pupils wrote them in their note books.Pupils learn and present them in the Friday's dinner day period.

5. AAJ KA SABDHA

We write one Hindi word and its meaning in the display board

6. EE VARAM PAD YAM

    We write a Telugu pad yam, meanings and summery of the pad yam in the display board .(Vemama & Sumathi) Children learn them and present in the Friday's dinner day period.

7. TEACHING LEARNING MATERIAL

    Our staff members develop some TLM and put them in new links.

NPEGEL

Our school is the NPEGEL Model Cluster School. It covers one Z.P.High school, and Five MPP Schools.

ACTIVITIES

Vocational training in Tailoring and Embroidery

Photo Lamination

Institutional visits,

Hand Bags making, Spoken English classes and Marshal arts etc

Gifts to the schools in the cluster school area.
